Who we are
ALUCOR: Our Story
In 1983, Feliciano Correa started cutting glass in Queréndaro, Michoacán — trimming pieces that other people had bought oversized from other cities. Two years later, he was selling glass cut to measure. By 1990, he and his son Alfredo had begun installing aluminium windows across the region. That was the moment aluminium became the core of the business — and the three values that still define ALUCOR today were adopted.
Alfredo carried the business forward through the decades that followed, building a reputation not on price, but on the quality of what they installed and the trust of the people they worked for.
In 2011, Edgar — the third generation — started showing up at job sites at twelve years old. Intermittently at first, between school. Then, in 2024, after finishing university, he came in completely — from back office operations to installing doors and windows himself. Since then, ALUCOR has been systematically redesigned: better processes, better specifications, better solutions. Not just aluminium windows. Something more.
We are not C-level strategists looking for the next business move. We are installers — people who have spent decades in the field learning what works, what fails, and why. That is why we want Alumil: not to add a brand to a catalog, but because our clients deserve systems that match the level of care we put into every installation.
Since 2024, ALUCOR has been running a formal continuous improvement program: process standardization, bottleneck analysis, installation quality protocols, and staff training. Supported by a proprietary project management platform covering workflow, inventory, payment tracking, and document generation — built for operational traceability and scalable to ALUMILCAL integration. As part of this program, ALUCOR has identified and is currently conducting a financial evaluation for the first precision machinery acquisition — to meet the fabrication standards required by European aluminium systems. This investment is being planned in parallel with the Alumil certification process.
